Website Project – My 1st Full Flash Enabled Site – Update

Hello m8′s

first of all, tnx 4 commenting this project. I’m made some changes in order to achive some of your advices. Still to do some things, like changing the subpages preloader. The “Links” sub page is ready, so if you could comment it i would appreciate very much, as it is very important to me to know what people thinks about it.

Believe the site it is also faster than before, and the entrance was changed too, so the big ship and big preloader will not appear anymore, instead, a splash screen will appear.

Pls comment. It is really important to me.

————————————– Update———————————————————-

Hi there,

For a while, i had been a little away from this blog, and unable to update it daily, as i’m working in a website project, for the company i site.jpgwork for. I’m not a pro designer, and i never took any kind of course, certification or other about web-design. So i’m doing a project self passed, with no pro skills, but i think with a good presentation.

So, i want to request your assistance, opinion about this project http://greeniberica.webvila.orgMoreover, if you have find an error, pls give me your feedback.

    Hi,

I will certainly tell you my impression and just to alert you I am not pretty heavy sometimes :D

first, loading time is too big, I would recommend breaking it in smaller pieces, making user wait less and feel better

    2. two animations for preloader is too much, that caused blank screen rest too much on screen waiting preloaders to load, big preload image isn’t looking that good on edges because of trasparency, another reason to put it away

    3. again, loading time is HUUGE :D

    4. transition are ok, better part of the site

    5. processing time is consumed too much try to optimise the performance

    6. don’t use built in preloader component, style it or make your own it would keep design consistent

    basiclly that is all
for the first site is cool, needs little more tweaking
design is not that good, could be better but that will come to

anyway good work keep pushin’ ;)

Nice site! One thing I would change is to use SWFObject or similar JS to avoid IE’s “Click to activate and use this control” message.
